There are 4 main attachment styles: Secure Attachment, Anxious Attachment, Avoidant Attachment and Disorganized Attachment.

Attachment wounds often form in childhood when emotional needs aren’t fully met, whether due to inconsistent, neglectful, or traumatic caregiving.

These wounds impact how we relate to others and ourselves, often leading to behaviors like people-pleasing and perfectionism—coping mechanisms that may offer temporary relief but fuel anxiety in the long run. 

When we recognize these behavioral patterns as responses to unhealed wounds from childhood, we can begin to comfort and nurture that part of ourselves that simply wants to be loved.

As a Certified Yoga Therapist I have more than 1000 hours of training in trauma-informed care, rebalancing the nervous system, healing emotional and physical trauma, healing from post traumatic stress and healing childhood trauma.
